Jenipher Moinkett Mbele is a prominent Kenyan politician, community leader, and environmental advocate who serves as a key mobilization figure for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party in Kajiado County. Before transitioning into full-time politics, she established her professional roots in sustainable development, notably serving as the Regional Board Chairperson for the Participatory Ecological Land Use Management (PELUM) Association, an NGO network dedicated to ecological land use, climate resilience, and agricultural food security across East and Southern Africa. Her strong background in civil society propelled her into mainstream politics during the 2022 General Election, where she ran a highly competitive race as the Azimio la Umoja coalition's flagbearer for the Kajiado Women Representative seat, ultimately finishing second with a commanding 87,312 votes.
