John Murumba Chikati

Hon. (Dr.) John Murumba Chikati is a prominent Kenyan legislator and the Member of Parliament for Tongaren Constituency in Bungoma County, having been elected to the National Assembly in the 2022 general election. A senior member of the Forum for the Restoration of Democracy–Kenya (FORD-Kenya) party, he serves as its National Secretary General, coordinating party strategy alongside national leaders like National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula. In parliament, Dr. Chikati contributes to governance and policy development as a key member of both the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee and the Tourism and Wildlife Committee.
