Kawira Mwangaza

Kawira Mwangaza is a Kenyan politician and the first woman to be elected Governor of Meru County in 2022 as an independent candidate. She previously served as Meru County Woman Representative from 2017 to 2022. She is the founder of Umoja Na Maendeleo Party (UMP) and is known for her grassroots leadership, community empowerment, and advocacy for women and youth.
