Lydia Haika Mnene Mizighi

Hon. Lydia Haika Mnene Mizighi is the current County Woman Representative for Taita-Taveta County, serving her second term in the National Assembly of Kenya under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. Before entering politics in 2017, she built a career in the hospitality industry, working as a marketing and reservations officer for Kenya Safari Lodges & Hotels, and pursued training in customer care, international business, and global diplomacy. In parliament, she utilizes her platform to champion gender advocacy, local mineral resource rights for her constituents, and migrant worker protections, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Diaspora Affairs and Migrant Workers Committee.
