Hon. Dr. Martin Peters Owino (popularly known as "Wuod Chief") is an experienced public health professional and a dedicated politician serving his second consecutive term in the National Assembly of Kenya. Educated at Boston University and the Education Development Center in Massachusetts, he holds advanced credentials in public health, specializing in evidence-based health interventions and capacity building. Prior to entering elective politics, he built an extensive international and local career coaching leaders and managing healthcare programs. In Parliament, he leverages his professional expertise as an active and influential member of the House Committee on Health, while also serving on the National Cohesion and Equal Opportunity Committee and the Public Investments Committee on Social Services.
