Michael Mwangi Muchira

Michael Mwangi Muchira, CBS, is the Member of Parliament for Ol Jorok Constituency. He was first elected in 2017 and re-elected in 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Land Economics from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management) from Kenyatta University, a Diploma in Project Management, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K). Before joining Parliament, he worked as an Estate Manager at Kenya Railways and as a property valuer and manager in the private sector. In Parliament, he has served on the Public Accounts Committee, the Departmental Committee on Labour and Social Welfare, and the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs. His development agenda focuses on education, roads, agriculture, water, and youth empowerment
