Mutula Kilonzo Junior

Mutula Kilonzo Junior is a prominent Kenyan politician and advocate who has served as the second Governor of Makueni County since August 2022. Prior to this, he represented Makueni as its Senator from 2013 to 2022, a political career he launched after winning a by-election following the death of his father, veteran politician Mutula Kilonzo. An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and managing partner at Kilonzo & Co. Advocates, he holds a law degree from Nagpur University. Alongside his gubernatorial responsibilities, he was sworn in as a member of the Kenya Law Reform Commission in 2026.
