Onesmus Ngogoyo Nguro

Hon. Onesmus Ngogoyo Nguro is a prominent Kenyan politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kajiado North Constituency, having clinched the seat under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket in the August 2022 general elections [13th Parliament, Mzalendo]. An alumnus of Africa Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution [Hon. Nguro Onesmus Ngogoyo], Ngogoyo built his political foundation at the grassroots level by serving as a Member of the County Assembly (MCA) in the Kajiado County Assembly from 2013 to 2022. In the National Assembly, he contributes to legislative oversight as a member of the Parliamentary Broadcasting and Library Committee [Hon. Nguro Onesmus Ngogoyo]. Although elected under the ruling party, he has distinguished himself as a highly vocal and independent-minded legislator, frequently maintaining a staunch alliance with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and openly criticizing the executive branch's policy decisions and state oversight.
