Paul Otuoma

Dr. Paul Nyongesa Otuoma is a Kenyan politician and registered veterinary surgeon currently serving as the Governor of Busia County under the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party. Born on September 15, 1966, he holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi. Before his election as governor in 2022, Otuoma served as the Member of Parliament for Funyula Constituency (2007–2017) and held various ministerial portfolios in Kenya's Grand Coalition Government, including Fisheries Development, Youth Affairs & Sports, and Local Government.
