Peris Pesi Tobiko

Peris Pesi Tobiko is a trailblazing Kenyan politician currently serving as a Nominated Senator under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), where she continues her lifelong advocacy for women's leadership and community empowerment. She cemented her place in Kenyan history in 2013 when she defied rigid traditional patriarchy and elders' cultural curses to become the first-ever elected female Maasai Member of Parliament, successfully representing the Kajiado East constituency for two consecutive terms.
