Richard Cheruiyot Kilel

Hon. Richard Cheruiyot Kilel is the current Member of Parliament for Bomet Central Constituency, elected during the 2022 general elections under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket. An economist by training, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Egerton University and possesses extensive professional expertise in procurement and supply chain management, having previously worked with organizations like the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA). In the National Assembly, he actively contributes to legislative oversight through his roles in the Decentralized Funds Accounts Committee, the Tourism and Wildlife Committee, and the Procedure and House Rules Committee. In his home constituency, Kilel is primarily focused on modernizing local school infrastructure, improving rural road networks, and expanding bursary allocations to support education access for needy students.
