Seth Panyako

Seth Panyako is a prominent Kenyan trade unionist and political figure, best known as the long-serving Secretary General of the Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN). He gained national recognition for his fierce advocacy for healthcare workers' rights, frequently leading strikes to demand better pay, improved working conditions, and equipment for medical staff. Beyond union activism, he is a vocal and often controversial politician in western Kenya, particularly within Kakamega County, where he has frequently shifted allegiances between major political coalitions like the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the opposition.
